Performer Application

Applications for 2021 are closed

Please read performer guidelines below before submitting the form at the bottom of the page.

Performers need to be related to the specified genres.  We are quite specifically BLUEGRASS and OL’TIMEY,  (or its related incarnations) and if possible we try and include Western Swing and/or Cajun if it is available.

Bluegrass usually features some combination of the 5 string banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, dobro, double bass and extensive harmony singing.

Ol’Timey refers to the tunes that historically arise from the Appalachias, or some kind of derivative of that style – and in particular feature the fiddle and the clawhammer banjo, and possibly accompanied by guitar, double bass and mandolin.

We are a non-profit organisation with a small budget and are only able to pay a small fee and provide dormitory accommodation. All funds are raised from ticket sales.

Preference is given to performers who are available to attend for the whole weekend (including Friday night), conduct workshops, and contribute to the informal jamming that takes place at the Old Priory all weekend.
